The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas

The direction I wanted to go in with the cover for this story was to highlight the population of Omelas, and through them to hint at what was secretly happening inside the city, instead if focusing on the boy.

I decided on the mirrored character, the front cover showcasing the beautiful packaging of Omelas, while the back cover hints at its darker secrets.

The flowers are Forget-Me-Nots, a message from the little child in the basement to the people of Omelas.
